As a screenwriter, Yuri has written almost a dozen feature film screenplays as well as several short films and about a million sketches for various sketch comedy groups. He was the show runner, writer and co-creator of award-winning comedic web-series SHELF LIFE, for four award-winning seasons.

Several of his scripts have been produced, including two features: the psychological thriller TUMBLING AFTER, and the mockumentary CON ARTISTS. His short film, FAITHFUL, that he wrote, starred in and produced fifteen years ago while living in New York, was recently was re-worked and produced by a production company starring him in the opposite role from the original.

For Cartoon Network’s juggernaut, BEN 10: OMNIVERSE, he recently wrote the episode "The Most Dangerous Game Show", now available on Amazon and streaming on HBO Max.

He is currently working on several feature scripts, a web-series, as well as a pilot and a mini-series which is in development.

He is an unabashed lover of genre films, and his stories usually find themselves in the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy realms. He recently wrote and directed his first horror film RU AWAKE?
